Well if my illness was overwhelming struggling with this process was very stressful which I did not need.     It is with pleasure that I write review for Geelong Centrelink assistance. As a senor citizen and not technically competent with computers and never having been to Centrelink it was a daunting task.


    Fortunately, a friend introduced me to Brian Yole at Geelong Centrelink Assistance. He and his amazing staff took all the stress out of getting a Seniors Health Care Card for me. I didn’t even have a CRN (Customer Reference Number) so Brian had to go to Centrelink (Services Australia) with me to help get that. I recommend Brian and his company very highly.     A few months ago, I was struggling with my application to Centrelink for my Disability Pension. I was lucky enough to have Brian Yole and his company “Geelong Centrelink Assistance” in Belmont recommended to me by a friend who said Brian was the man to see.


    I went to see Brian at his office and had a chat about my circumstances and what to do. Brian is a great listener and after hearing what I had to say, he gave me forms for my doctors to fill out and a list of the reports I would need to provide to apply for a pension.

    I got those reports and gave them to Brian and he and his wonderful staff did the rest. Within about three weeks of this I got a letter saying I had been approved for the pension. 


    Brian and his staff took a huge weight off my shoulder, and I have no hesitation in recommending “Geelong Centrelink Assistance” to anybody having problems with applying for pensions or any Centrelink matters

    “Age Pension Claim”


    With some trepidation we set about applying for a part-pension. The paperwork was daunting, and we’d already had trouble downloading documents and applying for a Low-Income Health Care Card previously. That’s why it was such a relief to find Brian and his service. (Geelong Centrelink Assistance)


    Brian went above and beyond in putting together our application. He made it look easy when we knew how hard it was for people like us, not used to dealing with government departments under pressure. 


    Brian even asked us to come in to finalise our submission on a Saturday morning when he could have been relaxing.

    I am 71 and after many attempts of applying for a Health Care Card and part pension – I noticed “Centrelink Assistance” in Belmont and popped  in and made an appointment with Brian.  “Best move ever”. 


    Brian dealt with Centrelink on my behalf and is continuing to do so – I would of just given up if it was not for his assistance.   I am so appreciative of his help and professional manner and a great “all round bloke” to deal with.  I highly recommend Brian to anyone dealing with Centrelink.

    I am a 75 years old single woman still working part time but felt I needed to look at applying for a Centrelink Pension/Part Pension to support me in the future. I had heard numerous stories about how long it took for claims to be processed and granted by Centrelink.

    I went to Brian for assistance and can't believe my luck. Brian knows the ins and outs of the Centrelink system. He is a great communicator and is always one step ahead of what is needed, also a very affable man to deal with.

    Incredibly my Centrelink Pension claim was granted within three weeks of being submitted. A truly wonderful result for me and knowing that Brian will continue to deal with Centrelink on my behalf is a great relief.

    Brian made the process of applying for a Centrelink pension a lot easier than it would have been if we had attempted the process ourselves.


    At the first meeting he led us through an estimation of our entitlements.


    This was easy to follow and gave us confidence that Brian could deliver a positive result for us.


    He made us aware of what documents we needed to populate the application and gave us a checklist to work through.


    We met for a second time in his office where he showed us how he would build the electronic submittal - responding to questions and uploading documents


    Following this meeting we had a few questions which he responded to by 'phone - Communication was excellent throughout the process.


    Just over a week after setting up our first appointment Brian has digitally submitted a Age Pension claim on our behalf.

    I am a 73 years old single lady and silly me decided to sell my home and move elsewhere, a huge task on my own I was founding to remember the many things associated with the move the worse was trying to contact people businesses to change my address etc the worse was contacting Centrelink.


    I happen to be passing the shop in Belmont with sign outside “NEED HELP WTH CENTRELINK?” so in I went were was not much hope, but I was lucky to meet Brian after talking to him for ½ / ¾ hour, I left literally feeling lighter “as I walked to my car I feel this enormous weigh had been lifted off my shoulders


    Now I slept better at night I didn’t work up worrying and not be able to go back to sleep, I feel like my old self again.


    It was my lucky day when I walked into Brian’s office and I am very grateful for his help

    I contacted Brian after seeing his adverting in the Yellow Pages. An appointment was made for the following week and Brian very kindly offered to come to my house as I had recently broken my wrist and was unable to drive.


    From the first meeting with Brian Yole, I liked his down to earth manner, honesty, sense of humour and positive attitude. I will never forget Brian’s response when I asked him at our first meeting if he was still interested in taking me on after seeing how little I had in my superannuation. He told me straight up that he didn’t care how much or little money I had because he gets paid a flat fee for his services and for him job satisfaction was very important. He enjoys his work immensely and gets a real kick out of helping his clients get what they are entitled to from Centrelink. That statement spoke with such conviction and candour was what convinced me to go ahead with Brian and I am very pleased to say that from my experience every word is true.


    I have Parkinson’s disease and had previously applied to Centrelink for a Disability Support Pension in August 2016. This was UNSUCCESSFUL as was a review requested by my local MP.


    Brian suggested that I try again, with his assistance, for the DSP. I am very happy to say thanks to Brian, I have recently been granted the Disability Support Pension.


    Brian was great throughout; ensuring that I was updated at all times and I understood the process and was clear on the information I need to provide (letters from my GP & neurologist, financial details, etc.).


    I would not hesitate to recommend Brian to anyone who is planning to apply for/needs assistance with Centrelink pensions.

    After numerous visits to Centrelink to enquire about what my wife and I might qualify for, led us to giving up trying. As I have not worked since 2018 and my wife recently leaving her full-time job due to ill health, we gave up walking away thinking this is just too hard. The Centrelink staff seemed unable to assist us with our application, suggesting it should be done online, not an easy task for anyone and the elderly. After talking with a friend who had similar dealings with Centrelink is when we heard about Geelong Centrelink Assistance, an independent business who will assist you with your application.


    Brian and his team at Geelong Centrelink Assistance were very helpful and their knowledge of how the system works and what is required was a great benefit.


    No doubt saved us a lot of time and effort in what we were finding an impossible task to complete.


    Brian was very good at listening to our situation. He knew he could be of help so we decided to go ahead with the application and ended up being very successful with our claim.
